Must-play Courses: March Edition

Looking for a new place to play? We’ve got you covered.

Because Trackman is always adding new venues to our virtual course library, it can be a challenge for even the most dedicated followers to keep up. That’s why we’re introducing Must-Play Courses — a monthly spotlight on new and notable courses to try out during your next visit to a Trackman-powered facility.

For March, we’re bringing you a championship-caliber challenger, a bucket-list beauty and a fast, fun (and fictional) short course. Whether you’re grinding for a personal best, savoring the sights or chasing aces, these picks belong in your Trackman rotation.

PGA National: Tame the Bear (If You Dare)

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, US
Difficulty: 5/5

This one’s not for the faint of heart. The home of the Cognizant Classic each spring, PGA National is a big-time pressure cooker that separates pretenders from contenders. With water lurking everywhere and greens that roll like glass, this legendary Florida track is a can’t-miss for those who love a stern test of golf.

  • Buckle up and Bear down: Holes 15–17, dubbed “The Bear Trap” in honor of course designer Jack Nicklaus, are a three-hole gauntlet that’s humbled some of the best golfers on the planet for decades. This is where a round can go from spectacular to so-so (or vice versa) in a hurry. Can you walk away unscathed?

  • Better bring your A-game: Even in the sim, PGA National is a serious test. Featuring narrow landing zones, tricky pin placements and bedeviling coastal breezes, it’s a wonder the scorecard doesn’t come with a “Precision Required” warning label.

Cabot Cliffs: Breathtaking Views and Bucket-List Vibes

Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada
Difficulty: 3/5

Welcome to one of the most scenic golf courses on the planet. Set on the rugged coast of Nova Scotia, Cabot Cliffs is a dream destination that delivers thrilling shotmaking, insane elevation changes and stunning scenery. This one is not just a must-play, it’s a must-see-to-be-believed.

  • Picture perfect: The instantly iconic 16th hole is a par 3 straight out of a postcard. To call this tee shot intimidating is a severe understatement: the green perched on a rocky outcropping, waves crashing below, wind swirling — can you keep your knees from knocking long enough to hit the perfect shot?

  • Pure golf, no gimmicks: Cabot Cliffs is a shotmaker’s paradise, with fast, firm fairways, deep bunker and endless creativity required. This course isn’t just good — it’s top-10-in-the-world good, and now you can play it without a flight to Canada.

  • ICYMI: The Cliffs course may be the shiniest jewel in the Cabot crown, but don’t forget about its sister course: Cabot Links, which is a stunner in its own right — and also open for play in Trackman simulators.

London Gardens: City golf? Jolly good!

(Imaginary) London, UK
Difficulty: 1/5

This fictional (unfortunately) nine-hole par-3 course lets you zip through a fun round while soaking in views of Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the London Eye. A blast for players of all ages and skill levels, it’s already one of the most popular courses in the Trackman library — and once you play it, you’ll see why.

  • Quick and addictive: Need a fast, fun round? London Gardens lets you get in a game without a huge time commitment — but don’t be surprised if you want to play it twice.

  • London’s calling (and it looks incredible): Where else can you stick an iron to three feet while gazing at the Thames? The eye-popping scenery alone makes this one a must-play.

  • The ultimate wedge game tune-up: Nine stunning par-3s = nine chances to go flag-hunting and dial in those short irons.

Stay tuned for more Must-Play Courses in April — who knows where we’ll take you next?
